not encourage this research?Billy Elliot - another example of father rejection, absent father themes. Why does the APA?
Yeah to answer #1
Billy Elliot was actually an interesting movie with some actual thought in it. I like it when a guy does what he wants even tho other people mess with him about it.
And yeah when Billy's dad figured it out he was proud of his kid.
Please review the movie, Billy Elliot. The movie protrays a father who eventually accept his son for whatever his son is and is very proud of him! This is not a story of a father's rejection of his son.
And, the movie does not imply that Billy is gay...just a man who loves dance.Billy Elliot - another example of father rejection, absent father themes. Why does the APA?
Billy Elliott's father didn't reject him. He was just not focused on Billy. He was a single dad and was distracted by his joblessness, and the strike that was going on at the time.
Billy was NOT gay. That was emphatically stressed. Makes me wonder if you and I saw the same movie :-)
Because there are about 20 million other movies out there that don't have this theme. Research takes $$$. America is having economic problems, which means there is less $ for research into things. Billy Elliot isn't really a priority.
Are you referring to the movie? Really? Should we also encourage biological research to discover vampires?
