Is Billy Elliot (the boy in the broadway show) gay?

I saw the broadway show in Chicago last night, and after watching the entire thing, I'm just wondering if he's gay or not. He seems to make a connection with that girl named Susan, but Michael kisses him on Christmas and Billy returns that kiss in the end of the show. Also they dress in womans clothing so they can "express" themselves and because they thought it would be fun. But then again, I heard him ask Mrs. Wilkenson if she fancied him. So I don't know... Is he gay or not?Is Billy Elliot (the boy in the broadway show) gay?

You ppl are idiots. The person was asking if the character Billy Elliot is portrayed as a gay boy or not. Was not asking if the ppl playing were gay. Get a life ppl.

I don't think it matters particularly if Billy is gay or not; that's not the point of the story. He could be gay or not.
Your question can NOT be answered because YOU apparently don't know that the character of Billy Elliot is played by THREE BOYS, who are chosen AT CURTAIN TIME.. so there is NO WAY to answer your question since it could have been ANY of the THREE BOYS you saw play the part.



Billy Elliot,the MUSICAL is a PLAY and I have to wonder about your MATURITY if you can't separate REAL LIFE from a PLAY.



That being said.. I don't know of ANY MALE BALLET DANCERS who are STRAIGHT... and I've known a LOT of male ballet dancers.
