What should I see in London: Billy Elliot or The Lion King?

I'm leaving for London tomorrow, and my friend and I have decided that we want to see a West End musical. However, we can't decide between Billy Elliot (set to the music of Elton John) and The Lion King.

Which would you see? If you've seen them both, which did you prefer?

Thank you! What should I see in London: Billy Elliot or The Lion King?
They are both great, but I think if you are into thinking a lot, you should go see Billy, it will be a classic peice of musical theatre someday, but it does require a certain mindset going in.. But if you simply want to be entertained for a few hours and see spectacular theatrics, you need to see the lion king. It is visually the most stunning show I have ever seen. They are both amazing, you wont go wrong with either, it just depends on what you want.
i've seen the lion king.

it is amazing!!

you should really go and see it.What should I see in London: Billy Elliot or The Lion King?
Billy Elliot was phenomenal! I went in april and the actor that played the roll of billy was only 11; it was also his first preformance as billy. I also am one of those people who do not like musicals much, but this one, it was so good. I highly recomend it
Most definitely the LION KING!!!!!
If you have a mental age over about 13 years, then see Billy Elliot... Lion King is a CHILD'S musical and it takes more than a 5 minute attention span to watch Billy Elliot.

I've seen them both and Lion King is about 60 years too YOUNG and CHILDISH for me... it's CUTE but it's not for ADULTS.

ALSO, if you want to see something in London that you can't see anywhere else.. then go see LOVE NEVER DIES.
Definatly Lion king! it is a must see! my saying is that any film/ show that makes you cry is worth seeing because it shows such emotion and that the film/show has connected with you! but its not all misery throughout i think the songs are really uplifting and they'll have you dancing in the street after!
