i saw infomation about auditioning for billy elliot on broadway and i want to but i couldn't make a audtion city so they told me to send a headshot,resume,and letter to a adress.but to audition for a ballet girl u have to be under 12 and i'm 13.but some of the ballet girls are 17.do you think they would mind my age? also you must be under 4'11 i'm 5 foot but i dont think that matters.what will they do once they get the headshot,resume,and letter?Billy Elliot Broadway Audition?
What they DIDN'T tell you.. because they don't want to be indelicate.. is.. THEY GO BY YOUR PERIODS... For YOUNG GIRLS on Broadway.. ONCE they start having PERIODS.. they are OFF THE SHOW.. this is true for ANNIE and for BILLIE ELLIOT and for SOUND OF MUSIC and for many shows that rely on the actors being YOUNG girls... This is also why some 17 year old WOMEN are still on the show.
