Q. about Billy Elliot {film study}?

In the film Billy Elliot, at what point do you think is Billy's point of no return** (or main dramatic decision)?

For the two other characters Jackie (the father) %26amp; Tony (the brother) when is there's too?

For Jackie - could it be when he sees Billy dancing and he goes to talk to Mrs. Wilkinson/ the ballet instructor --%26gt; is there he accepts Billy's passion?

** Point of no return - the main dramatic decision. The character is faced with a "life changing" decision, and once they make a decision they won't be able to go back to equilibrium or how their life was before.

Thank you !!!!Q. about Billy Elliot {film study}?
For Billy, I really think it's the part where he explains to the judges how he feels when he's dancing. Before the audition he backs down a little and tells his dad he's changed his mind, but after it he tells the judges he feels a change, like there's sparks, like fire, like electricity etc. It's a big moment because it's the first time he's admitted it and I think it's the moment where he realises he wants to dancer for life. (The 'Electricity' number in the musical is so moving, haha)

For Tony, maybe the part where Jackie is about to go to work when they're on strike and Tony confronts him about it. He says that he doesn't have to go back to work because they'll somehow find the money for Billy to go to the audition and they end up on the ground crying. It's moment where Tony accepts Billy wants to go to the audition.

And Jackie's point of no return is definitely the part where he sees Billy dancing in the club!
